About RECD installation

• Function: RECDs capture and reduce harmful emissions from diesel generators, such as particulate matter (PM), hydrocarbons (HC), and carbon monoxide (CO).

• Technology: Many RECDs use a filterless Electrostatic Precipitation (ESP) technology, which collects sub-micron particles without requiring manual cleaning or filter replacement. Other technologies, like DOC, DPF, and SCR, are also used in some RECDs.

• Benefits:

  • Compliance: Helps businesses comply with regulations from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and the National Green Tribunal (NGT).
